OSEA represents over 19, 000 active and retired employees working in Oregon school districts, community colleges, education service districts, Head Start agencies, libraries and park and recreation districts. OSEA is divided into 7 Zones encompassing the entire state.
Zone V geographically reaches from Sutherlin down to Ashland. Zone V consists of 16 OSEA Chapters in Douglas, Jackson & Josephine counties. Active chapter websites (denoted in red) can be found in the Quicklinks for further information.
The Zone Director conducts Zone Meetings at a minimum once per school year. More meetings can occur as necessary. The last few years have seen these meetings conducted in two locations (Roseburg & Medford) with one session in the morning and the second session in the afternoon. Notices are sent out to the Zone members with sufficient lead-time so members can plan to attend.
